Learning Levels

Learning Levels are attained by completing segments of ten credits within the NAECAD-CP. Credits can be earned in three ways:

  1. By taking courses on the NAECAD-CP mobile platform (1 credit/course).
  2. By attending NAECAD hosted and sponsored conferences (Multiple credit options).
  3. Actual experience as a director or coach of a competitive esports high school, college, or professional program (10 credits for each year of leading a competitive esports high school, college, or professional program).

Courses available on the NAECAD-CP mobile platform are categorized within the NAECAD Core Competencies (listed below). These competencies were created by the NAECAD Advisory Committee to identify the key competencies needed by esports coaches and directors to successfully lead a competitive esports program. NAECAD members are encouraged to take course from each of the four main Core Competency areas:

  1. Program Philosophy
  2. Organization and Administration
  3. Player Growth & Development
  4. Student Success

Learning Levels attained will be captured on a personalized electronic transcript that NAECAD members will be able to use at their discretion. NAECAD members will also receive an electronic certification for each Learning Level attained and receive special recognition at the NAECAD National Convention each year for every five Learning Levels attained.
