FOR COLLEGES:  Passes include a recruiting booth and (1) pass for the coaching clinic. You may bring help for running your booth, but additional admission passes are required if they would like to attend the coaching clinic portion of the event. 

FOR HIGH SCHOOLS: Purchasing any pass allows you to bring students for the leadership workshop & Rocket League tournament.

ALL-ACCESS ADMISSION For Current All-Access Members

If you are not a current All-ACCESS NAECAD member, you will need to purchase a general admission pass OR become a NAECAD All-ACCESS member to receive free entry.

STUDENT LEADERSHIP WORKSHOP & TOURNAMENT

Your students will have a full day of activities planned to improve their leadership skills in 3 distinct areas: Leading Self, Leading Team, and Leading School. Students will end the day with an organized Rocket League tournament. In addition to the workshop, students will be able to talk with college coaches about joining a collegiate esports program. The workshop will be held  in the North Dakota State University Memorial Union, 1401 Administration Ave, Fargo, ND 58105

  • 9:10AM -Leadership Workshop Begins

SESSION 1: LEADING SELF

In order to be effective in leading others, one must be empowered to become leaders of their own lives.  Our dedicated team will guide students on a transformative journey of self-discovery and personal growth.  Activities will include the opportunity for students to refine their ability to present oneself in the best way possible to teammates, coaches, and others when enduring any circumstance. 

SESSION 2: LEADING TEAM

Leading a team is an art that requires a combination of leadership skills, interpersonal savvy, and the ability to create a shared vision for success.  This engaging session will aim for individuals to be a main contributor in creating a healthy environment, using their skills and knowledge to lead with confidence, while placing extreme value on the common goal. 

SESSION 3: LEADING SCHOOL

Make a lasting impact on your school community and contribute to the achievement of education.  This session will allow individuals to understand visionary leadership and the ability to articulate a compelling mission and vision, while also building school pride, to the larger school community. 

  • 11:00AM -Rocket League Tournament Begins

ROCKET LEAGUE TOURNAMENT:

To put your leadership training to the test, we have organized a Rocket League tournament for you to participate in. During this tournament, you will be challenged to lead yourself, your team, and your school. Teams will be organized to be as even as possible in skill, with the goal being your leadership, communication, and teamwork, which will separate you and allow your team to be victorious.

  • 5:50PM -Closing Statements

    Students who need to leave beforehand are free to do so, otherwise we will conclude with some final words at 5:50PM and have everyone on the road by 6PM.

COACHING CLINIC

There will be a coaching clinic held alongside the student leadership workshop for both high school and college coaches. This clinic will sharpen your skills as an esports coach, coordinator, and leader. Below is the outline for the full clinic.  The clinic will be held  in the North Dakota State University Memorial Union, 1401 Administration Ave, Fargo, ND 58105

DECEMBER 7TH

  • 6:30PM-8:30PM Pre-Event Social

    Join us the night before the Clinic to network and meet other attendees. Food and drinks will be provided.

DECEMBER 8TH

  • 8:00AM - Check-In

    This is your time to get a coffee, meet up with friends, and receive your materials for the day.

  • 9:00AM - Opening Statements

  • 9:10AM - Choose Your Path

  • High School Coaches

    Learn from Mike Dahl, an experienced leader in high school esports. He currently serves as the Wisconsin High School Esports President and was voted the NAECAD Coach of the Year for the 21-22 school year.

  • Collegiate Coaches

    Recruiting is an important skill that most coaches do not receive proper training on. In this session, Coach Alne will take you through a crash course on recruiting and how to make the most out of your time with potential recruits.

  • 10:00AM - Rocket League Coaching Workshop

    This section is for both high school and college coaches and will focus entirely on coaching Rocket League. this workshop will feature sections on: Rocket League Essentials (option first section), Team Dynamics, Evaluating Players, Establishing player development plans, Warm-ups, Drills, Online Resources.

  • 11:30AM - Recruiting Break

  • 12:00PM - Lunch Break

    You will have 1 hour to get lunch, meet up with friends, talk to vendors, and review materials before returning for the last half of the day.

  • 1:00PM - COACHES OPTIONS

    The afternoon is design to be as flexible as possible to allow you to get the most out of your day. There will be the opportunity to watch the student Rocket League tournament, man your recruting booth, or sit in on educational seminars happening throughout the afternoon.

  • 5:50PM - Closing Remarks

  • 6:30PM - Post-Event Food and Drinks

    Join us for a social after the event before you have to make your way home!

RECRUITING OPPORTUNITY

To provide connections and further opportunities to student, college coaches will have the ability to setup booths and interact with students throughout the day. Our goal is to be able to bring collegiate opportunities to attending students and help build a relationship between the high schools and colleges in attendance.
