NOVEMBER 2ND

  • 6:30PM-8:30PM PRE-EVENT SOCIAL

    Where: The Watershed Pub 2129 Market Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011
    Details: Free social event with drinks, hors-d'oeuvres, and food for registered coaches, directors, and sponsors.
    This will give you quality time to network, and learn from, individuals from established programs around the country.

NOVEMBER 3RD

  • 8:30AM - CHECK-IN

    This is your time to get a coffee, meet up with friends, and receive your materials for the day.

  • 9:00AM - Opening Statements

    Join us in welcoming everyone to Harrisburg, a quick thank you to everyone who made this event possible, and a quick overview of what to expect for the day.

  • 9:10AM - Choose Your Path

  • Esports Essentials

    This is an introductory block for year 0-1 coaches that will feature sessions on: Preparing for success in esports, Building a space for esports, Understanding esports equipment

  • Meet Your Mentor

    This is an opportunity for year 1-2 coaches to meet up with their pre-assigned year 3+ mentors. You will receive questionnaires to work on together and receive 1 on 1 advice for the problems you are facing currently.

  • 11:00AM - Program Fundamentals

    This section focuses on the development of your program as a whole. You will be tasked with developing a program philosophy, undergo ethics training, and create an execution plan for your program.

  • 11:50AM - Coaching Fundamentals

    This section focuses on the coach/player relationship. You will be tasked with challenging yourself on how to be a better mentor, how to establish expectations, and how you should view your role as a coach.

  • 12:30PM - Lunch Break

    You will have 1 hour to get lunch, meet up with friends, talk to vendors, and review materials before returning for the game specific coaching workshop portion of the day.

  • 1:30PM - Choose Your Path

  • Rocket League Coaching Workshop

    This section will focus entirely on coaching Rocket League and feature sections on: Rocket League Essentials (option first section), Team Dynamics, Evaluating Players, Establishing player development plans, Warm-ups, Drills, Online Resources.

  • League of Legends Coaching Workshop

    This section will focus entirely on coaching League of Legends and feature sections on: League of Legends Essentials (option first section), Team Dynamics, Evaluating Players, Establishing player development plans, Warm-ups, Drills, Online Resources.

  • 5:30PM - Roundtable Discussion

  • 5:50PM - Closing Remarks

  • 6:30PM - FOOD & SOCIAL HOUR
